Unclear from single-verse context (likely a narrator or interlocutor addressing a brāhmaṇa: 'dvijaḥ')

Concept: Śaraṇāgati as a life-orientation: taking refuge in Kṛṣṇa (in yoga-nidrā) should shape one’s approach to necessities—food, clothing, seat, and bed—so they become regulated, non-indulgent, and offered in spirit.

Application: Before eating, dressing, or resting, pause for a brief refuge-prayer; choose simplicity and moderation, treating comforts as entrusted resources rather than objects of identity.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

FAQs

It refers to the Lord in a divine, yogic repose (yoganidrā), a state of transcendent rest associated with cosmic preservation and divine sovereignty.

It centers spiritual life on śaraṇāgati—taking refuge in Kṛṣṇa—suggesting that even ordinary needs like food, clothing, seating, and sleeping are to be approached with devotion and dependence on the Lord.

Daily consumption and comforts should be regulated and spiritually oriented—accepted without greed, in a mood of surrender, and used as supports for dharma and devotion rather than indulgence.
