Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
तर्जन्यङ्गुष्ठयोरन्तः पैत्र्यं तीर्थमुदाहृतम् । पितॄणां तेन तोयादि दद्याद् नान्दीमुखादृते ॥
tarjanyaṅguṣṭhayorantaḥ paitryaṃ tīrthamudāhṛtam | pitṝṇāṃ tena toyādi dadyānnāndīmukhādṛte ||
ຊ່ອງວ່າງລະຫວ່າງນິ້ວຊີ້ ແລະນິ້ວໂປ້ງ ຖືກປະກາດວ່າເປັນ paitṛya-tīrtha. ໂດຍ tīrtha ນັ້ນ ຄວນຖວາຍນ້ຳ ແລະສິ່ງອື່ນໆ ແກ່ Pitṛs ຍົກເວັ້ນໃນພິທີ Nāndīmukha.
