Adhyāya 14: Sudēṣṇā Sends Sairandhrī to Kīcaka’s House (सुदेष्णा–सैरन्ध्री–कीचक संवादः)
नार्हस्येवं वरारोहे प्रत्याख्यातुं वरानने । मां मन्मथसमादविष्ट॑ त्वत्कृते चारुहासिनि
na arhasi evaṃ varārohe pratyākhyātuṃ varānane | māṃ manmatha-samādaviṣṭaṃ tvat-kṛte cāru-hāsini ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ນາງຜູ້ສູງສົງງາມ, ໂອ ນາງຜູ້ໜ້າງາມ, ເຈົ້າບໍ່ຄວນປະຕິເສດຄຳຂໍຂອງຂ້າແບບນີ້. ໂອ ນາງຜູ້ຍິ້ມຫວານ, ເພາະເຈົ້າ ຂ້າຖືກຄວາມກະວົນກະວາຍແຫ່ງກາມຕັນຫາຄອບງຳ.»
वैशम्पायन उवाच
