कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

यर्थर्तुवर्षी भगवान् न तथा पाकशासन: । न चापि सर्वबीजानि सम्यगू रोहन्ति भारत,भगवान् इन्द्र भी ठीक वर्षाऋतुके समय जलकी वर्षा नहीं करेंगे। भारत! भूमिमें बोये हुए सभी बीज ठीकसे नहीं जमेंगे
yathā ṛtuvarṣī bhagavān na tathā pākaśāsanaḥ | na cāpi sarvabījāni samyag urohanti bhārata ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ດັ່ງພຣະຜູ້ເປັນເຈົ້າຜູ້ປະທານຝົນໃຫ້ຕົກຕາມລະດູການອັນຄວນ ພາກະສາສະນະ (ພຣະອິນທຣາ) ກໍຄວນປະພຶດຕາມນັ້ນ. ຖ້າພຣະອິນທຣາບໍ່ປະທານນ້ຳຝົນໃນເວລາອັນຄວນ ໂອ ພາຣະຕະ ແມ່ນແຕ່ເມັດພືດທີ່ຫວ່ານລົງໃນດິນ ກໍຈະບໍ່ງອກງາມດີ».
