Kuntī entrusts decision-making to Kṛṣṇa, emphasizing that action should be guided by what is truly beneficial (pathya) for the Pāṇḍavas and by wise discernment rather than impulse—an ethic of prudent, dharma-aligned counsel.
In the Udyoga Parva’s pre-war negotiations and counsel, Kuntī addresses Kṛṣṇa and authorizes him to act in whatever way he deems proper for the welfare of her sons, reflecting reliance on his judgment in a tense political-moral crisis.
