Paraśurāma’s origins and the depletion/restoration of kṣatriya lineages
विश्वामित्रं च दायादं गाधि: कुशिकनन्दन: । यः प्राप ब्रह्मसमितं विश्वै््रह्मगुणैर्युतम्
viśvāmitraṃ ca dāyādaṃ gādhiḥ kuśikanandanaḥ | yaḥ prāpa brahmasamitaṃ viśvaiḥ brahmaguṇair yutam ||
ວາສຸເທວະ ກ່າວວ່າ: “ກາທິ ຜູ້ເປັນຄວາມປິຕິຂອງສາຍກຸສິກ ໄດ້ມີທາຍາດເປັນບຸດນາມ ວິສະວາມິດຕະ—ຜູ້ພ້ອມດ້ວຍຄຸນທຳທັງປວງທີ່ຄວນແກ່ພຣາຫມະນະ ແລະໄດ້ຮັບເຂົ້າສູ່ຫມູ່ບຣະຫມະຣິສີ.”
वासुदेव उवाच
Spiritual authority and the highest sage-status are validated by brahmanical virtues and realized attainment. The verse underscores merit—qualities like discipline, truth, and austerity—as the ethical basis for recognition as a Brahmarṣi.
Vāsudeva describes Gādhi of the Kuśika line receiving Viśvāmitra as his heir, emphasizing that Viśvāmitra possessed complete brahmanical qualities and attained admission among the Brahmarṣis.
