Shloka 13

सम्प्राप्तस्यैव चाव्यग्रमावेद्योडहमिहागत: । ममाभिगमन प्राप्तो वाच्यक्ष वचन त्वया,ततः स विप्रस्तां नागीं समाधाय पुन: पुनः । तदेव पुलिन नद्या: प्रययौ ब्राह्मणर्षभ: तदनन्तर वह श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मण नागपत्नीको बारंबार (नागराजको भेजनेके लिये) जताकर गोमती नदीके तटपर ही चला गया

samprāptasyaiva cāvyagram āvedyodham ihāgataḥ | mamābhigamana-prāpto vācyakṣa vacanaṃ tvayā || tataḥ sa vipras tāṃ nāgīṃ samādhāya punaḥ punaḥ | tadeva pulinaṃ nadyāḥ prayayau brāhmaṇarṣabhaḥ ||

ພຣາຫມັນໄດ້ກ່າວວ່າ: «ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າມາຮອດທີ່ນີ້ໂດຍບໍ່ຫວັ່ນໄຫວ ແລະໄດ້ລາຍງານເລື່ອງຕາມຄວາມເປັນຈິງແລ້ວ. ເມື່ອເຈົ້າມາພົບຂ້າພະເຈົ້າ ຈົ່ງນຳສານນີ້ໄປກ່າວແທນຂ້າພະເຈົ້າ» ເທົ່ານັ້ນ. ແລ້ວພຣາຫມັນຜູ້ປະເສີດນັ້ນ ໄດ້ຕັກເຕືອນ ແລະປອບໃຈນາງນາກຊ້ຳໆ ກ່ອນຈະກັບໄປຫາຝັ່ງແມ່ນ້ຳເກົ່າ ເດີນຕາມຫາດຊາຍຂອງແມ່ນ້ຳນັ້ນ.
