Adhyātma–Adhibhūta–Adhidaivata Correspondences and the Triguṇa Lakṣaṇas (Śānti-parva 301)
प्रार्थयन्तश्न तं विप्रा वदन्ति गुणबुद्धय: । सम्यग्युक्तास्तथा योगा: सांख्याश्चञामितदर्शना:
prārthayantaś ca taṃ viprā vadanti guṇabuddhayaḥ | samyagyuktās tathā yogāḥ sāṅkhyāś ca jñāmitadarśanāḥ ||
ພຣາຫມະນະຣິສີທັງຫຼາຍ ຜູ້ສະແຫວງຫາພຣະອົງນັ້ນ ກ່າວເຖິງພຣະອົງວ່າ ພຣະປັນຍາຂອງພຣະອົງຕັ້ງຢູ່ໃນຄຸນທຳ. ພວກເຂົາຍັງປະກາດວ່າ ວິໄນແຫ່ງໂຢກະ (Yoga) ເມື່ອປະຕິບັດຢ່າງຖືກຕ້ອງ ແລະສາງຂະຍະ (Sāṅkhya) ຜູ້ມີທັດສະນະແຫ່ງປັນຍາແທ້—ລ້ວນນໍາໄປສູ່ການແຍກແຍະອັນຖືກຕ້ອງດຽວກັນນັ້ນ.
भीष्म उवाच
Right understanding is praised as grounded in virtue and discernment, and both properly practiced Yoga and the knowledge-oriented Sāṅkhya are affirmed as valid, converging disciplines that cultivate true insight.
Bhīṣma continues his instruction in the Śānti Parva, describing how learned brahmins speak about the sought-after ideal (a person or principle previously under discussion) and how established paths—Yoga and Sāṅkhya—are recognized as means to correct vision and knowledge.
