यृंजय उवाच
The verse highlights the devotional ethic of seeking divine grace in extreme suffering: grief is acknowledged as a consuming fire, yet the supplicant turns to a higher power with humility, trusting that compassion and favor can transform even seemingly irreversible loss.
Yṛñjaya, overwhelmed by sorrow for his dead son, addresses a divine figure described as an infallible seer. He petitions for mercy, asking that his son be revived and that he may experience reunion through the deity’s grace.
