Brahmacarya-Upāya: Jñāna, Śauca, and the Mind’s Role in Desire (शान्ति पर्व, अध्याय २०७)
आदित्यानदितिर्ऊज्ञेि देवश्रेष्ठानू महाबलान् | तेषां विष्णुर्वामनो5भूद् गोविन्दश्वा भवत् प्रभु:
ādityān aditir ūje devāśreṣṭhān mahābalān | teṣāṃ viṣṇur vāmano 'bhūd govindaś ca bhavat prabhuḥ ||
ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: ອະດິຕິ ໂດຍອານຸພາບທິບຂອງນາງ ໄດ້ໃຫ້ກຳເນີດແກ່ອາດິຕະຍະທັງຫຼາຍ—ເປັນເທວະຜູ້ປະເສີດ ແລະມີພະລັງອັນມະຫາສານ. ໃນອາດິຕະຍະເຫຼົ່ານັ້ນ ພຣະວິສະນຸຜູ້ແຜ່ຊາຍທົ່ວສັບພະສິ່ງ ໄດ້ປະກົດໃນຮູບວາມະນະ; ພຣະອົງແມ່ນ ໂຄວິນດະ ອົງອະທິປະໄຕ.
भीष्म उवाच
The supreme Lord may manifest in a seemingly small or humble form (Vāmana) while remaining all-pervading and sovereign (Govinda/Prabhu). Ethical strength lies in righteous purpose and divine order, not merely external magnitude.
Bhīṣma describes Aditi giving birth to the powerful Ādityas and notes that among them Viṣṇu manifested as Vāmana, identifying him as Govinda, the Lord—linking the Āditya lineage with the Vāmana avatāra tradition.
