Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
सोअग्निहोत्रप्रसक्तस्य कस्यचिद् ब्रह्मुवादिन: । जघानाज्ञानत:ः पार्थ होमधेनुं यदृच्छया
so ’gnihotra-prasaktasya kasyacid brahmavādinaḥ | jaghānājñānataḥ pārtha homadhenūṃ yadṛcchayā ||
ນາຣະດະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ປາຣຖະ! ຄັ້ງໜຶ່ງ ພຣາຫມັນຜູ້ສວດເວດຄົນໜຶ່ງ ກໍາລັງປະກອບພິທີອັກນິໂຫຕຣະ; ງົວບູຊາຂອງລາວ (ໂຮມະ-ເທນູ) ກໍເດີນຫຼົງມາທີ່ນັ້ນໂດຍບັງເອີນ. ມີຄົນໜຶ່ງ ເຮັດໄປດ້ວຍຄວາມບໍ່ຮູ້ ເຂົ້າໃຈຜິດວ່າເປັນສັດອັນຕະລາຍ ແລະຂ້າງົວນັ້ນໂດຍບໍ່ຕັ້ງໃຈ».
