Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
स तत्रेष्वस्त्रमकरोद् भगुश्रेष्ठाद् यथाविधि । प्रियश्चाभवदत्यर्थ देवदानवरक्षसाम्
sa tatreṣv astram akarod bhaguśreṣṭhād yathāvidhi | priyaś cābhavad atyartha devadānavarakṣasām ||
ນາຣະດະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ທີ່ນັ້ນ ເຂົາໄດ້ຮັບອາວຸດປະເພດລູກສອນອາວຸດ (ອັດສະຕຣະ) ຈາກຜູ້ຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່ທີ່ສຸດໃນວົງພຣຶກຄຸ ຕາມພິທີການອັນຖືກຕ້ອງ. ຈາກນັ້ນ ເຂົາກໍກາຍເປັນຜູ້ທີ່ເທວະ, ດານະວະ ແລະ ຣາກສະສະ ຮັກໃຄ່ຢ່າງຍິ່ງ—ຊີ້ວ່າການຮຽນຮູ້ດ້ວຍວິໄນ ແລະການປະພຶດຖືກທຳນອງ ສາມາດເຮັດໃຫ້ໄດ້ຮັບຄວາມນັບຖື ແມ່ນແຕ່ໃນຫມູ່ອຳນາດທີ່ເປັນຄູ່ປະທັກກັນ.
