भगीरथरयथाक्रान्तदेशान्‌ गड़ानिषेवितान्‌ । ये चरन्ति महामीनास्तांश्व॒ तस्यान्वकल्पयत्‌

Transliteration

Bhagīratha-ratha-ākrānta-deśān gaṅgā-niṣevitān | ye caranti mahā-mīnāḥ tān ca tasyānvakalpayat ||

Translation

ພີສະມະເວົ້າວ່າ: ໃນດິນແດນທີ່ຄັ້ງໜຶ່ງລົດສົງຄາມຂອງພຣະຣາຊາພະຄີຣະຖະເຄີຍຜ່ານ—ບ່ອນທີ່ແມ່ນ້ຳຄົງຄາ (Gaṅgā) ໄຫຼຜ່ານ ແລະມີປາໃຫຍ່ໆຊຸມຊົນ—ພຣະຣາຊາໄດ້ເລືອກເອົາປາບາງສ່ວນມາຈັດເປັນອາຫານໃຫ້ແກ່ໂກຕະມະ ເພື່ອສຳເລັດໜ້າທີ່ແຫ່ງການອຸປະຖຳແລະການຕ້ອນຮັບຕາມທຳ.
