क्षत्रियेषु न विश्वास: कार्य: सर्वापकारिषु । अपकृत्यापि सतत सान्त्वयन्ति निरर्थकम्‌

Transliteration

kṣatriyeṣu na viśvāsaḥ kāryaḥ sarvāpakāriṣu | apakṛtyāpi satataṃ sāntvayanti nirarthakam ||

Translation

ພີສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ຢ່າໄວ້ໃຈກະສັດຕຣິຍະ (kṣatriya) ຜູ້ມຸ່ງຮ້າຍຄົນອື່ນທຸກວິທີ. ແມ່ນແຕ່ເມື່ອເຮັດຮ້າຍແລ້ວ ພວກເຂົາຍັງເວົ້າຄໍາປອບໃຈຊໍ້າໆ—ແຕ່ເປັນການປອບໃຈທີ່ຫວ່າງເປົ່າ ແລະບໍ່ມີຈຸດໝາຍແທ້»។
