Balarāma’s Pilgrimage Context
वाजपेयं क्रतुवरं तथा बहुसुवर्णकम्
vājapeyaṃ kratuvaraṃ tathā bahusuvarṇakam
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: “(ລາວໄດ້ປະກອບ) ວາຈະເປຍ (Vājapeya) ອັນເປັນຍັດຍາອັນປະເສີດ ແລະຍັງ (ປະກອບພິທີອື່ນໆ) ທີ່ມີການທານຄຳຢ່າງຫຼາຍ.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic kingship expressed through Vedic rites and generous giving—especially the offering of substantial dakṣiṇā (fees/gifts), symbolized here by abundant gold.
