नारद उवाच
The verse highlights ordered reverence within the cosmos: even exalted celestial beings honor Kubera as the divinely appointed lord of wealth, implying that prosperity is governed by rightful authority and is approached through respectful devotion rather than mere desire.
Nārada is describing the splendid assembly and attendants connected with Kubera: numerous joyful, ornamented Gandharvas—among them famous chiefs like Viśvāvasu, Hahā, and Huhū—are portrayed as worshipping and attending upon Kubera.
