गमनाय मतिं चक्रे भ्रातरश्षास्य ते तदा | उन धर्मात्मा नरेशने नगर और जनपदके लोगोंको समझा-बुझाकर उनकी अनुमति प्राप्त कर ली। फिर उन्होंने और उनके भाइयोंने सब कुछ त्यागकर महा-प्रस्थान करनेका ही निश्चय किया

Transliteration

gamanāya matiṁ cakre bhrātaraś cāsya te tadā |

Translation

ໄວສັມປາຍະນະກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນເວລານັ້ນ ພີ່ນ້ອງເຫຼົ່ານັ້ນໄດ້ຕັ້ງໃຈຈະອອກເດີນທາງ. ກະສັດຜູ້ມີທຳ ແລະພີ່ນ້ອງຂອງພຣະອົງ ໄດ້ອະທິບາຍໃຫ້ຊາວເມືອງ ແລະປະຊາຊົນໃນແຄວ້ນເຂົ້າໃຈ ຈົນໄດ້ຮັບຄຳຍິນຍອມ. ແລ້ວພວກເຂົາສະຫຼະທຸກສິ່ງ ແລະເລືອກທາງ «ມະຫາປຣະສະຖານ»—ການອອກເດີນທາງອັນຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່—ຢ່າງໝັ້ນຄົງ.
