अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

Arjuna’s Rapid Advance and the Bhīma–Śakuni Encounter

न मया तादृशो राजन दृष्टपूर्व: पराक्रम: । संग्रामे यादृशो द्रौणे: कृष्णौ संछादयिष्यत:,राजन्‌! समरांगणमें श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनको बाणोंद्वारा आच्छादित करनेवाले अश्वत्थामाका जैसा पराक्रम उस दिन देखा गया, वैसा मैंने पहले कभी नहीं देखा था

na mayā tādṛśo rājan dṛṣṭapūrvaḥ parākramaḥ | saṅgrāme yādṛśo drauṇeḥ kṛṣṇau saṃchādayiṣyataḥ ||

ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: ໂອ ພະມະຫາກະສັດ, ຂ້າພະອົງບໍ່ເຄີຍເຫັນວິລະກຳອັນແກ່ກ້າເຊັ່ນນັ້ນຫຼາຍ່ອນ—ເຊັ່ນທີ່ອັສວັດຖາມາ ບຸດແຫ່ງດໂຣນະ ໃນສົງຄາມ ໄດ້ຍິງລູກສອນຈົນປົກຄຸມທັງກຣິດສະນະ ແລະ ອາຣະຈຸນ. ຄຳບອກເລົ່ານີ້ຕອກຢ້ຳຄວາມນ່າຢ້ານຂອງຝີມືການຮົບໃນສະໜາມ—ພະລັງອັນພິເສດອາດກົດທັບແມ່ນແຕ່ວີລະບຸລຸດຜູ້ໂດ່ງດັງໄດ້ຊົ່ວຄາວ, ແຕ່ກໍຍັງຢູ່ໃນການຕັດສິນທາງທຳອັນໃຫຍ່ຂອງສົງຄາມນັ້ນ.
