हृततेजोबला: सर्वे तदा सेन्द्रा दिवौकस: । ब्रह्माणं शरणं जम्मुर्वत्राद् भीता महासुरात्,उस समय तेज और बलसे हीन हुए इन्द्र आदि सम्पूर्ण देवता महान् असुर वृत्रसे भयभीत हो ब्रह्माजीकी शरणमें गये
sañjaya uvāca | hṛtatejobalāḥ sarve tadā sendrā divaukasaḥ | brahmāṇaṃ śaraṇaṃ jagmur vṛtrād bhītā mahāsurāt ||
ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: “ໃນເວລານັ້ນ ເທວະທັງຫຼາຍໃນສະຫວັນ ນຳໂດຍອິນທຣະ ສູນເສຍລັດສະໝີແລະກຳລັງ ດ້ວຍຄວາມຢ້ານກົວຕໍ່ອະສຸຣະໃຫຍ່ ວຣິຕຣະ ຈຶ່ງໄປຂໍພຶ່ງພາພຣະພຣະຫມາ (Brahmā).”
