Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 29 — Arjuna’s defeat of Vṛṣaka–Acalā and the neutralization of Śakuni’s māyā
देववाक्यात् प्रचिच्छेद शरेण भृशमर्जुन: । छिन्नमात्रें3शुके तस्मिन् रुद्धनेत्रो बभूव सः:
devavākyāt praciccheda śareṇa bhṛśam arjunaḥ | chinnamātreṃśuke tasmin ruddhanetro babhūva saḥ ||
ສັນຊະຍະເວົ້າວ່າ: ເມື່ອສຽງປະກາດອັນດັ່ງສຽງເທວະນັ້ນດັງຂຶ້ນ ອາຣະຈຸນກໍຍິງລູກສອນຢ່າງວ່ອງໄວແລະແຮງກ້າ ຕັດທຸງນັ້ນໃຫ້ຂາດ. ພໍທຸງຖືກຕັດຂາດ ສັດຕູນັ້ນກໍເຫມືອນຜູ້ຖືກປິດຕາ—ທັງສາຍຕາແລະຄວາມຫມັ້ນໃຈຖືກກັ້ນໄວ້ ຕໍ່ໜ້າຄວາມກ້າຫານອັນຕັດສິນຂາດຂອງອາຣະຈຸນໃນພາລະທຳຂອງສົງຄາມ.
संजय उवाच
Even amid the chaos of war, decisive action grounded in duty can neutralize intimidation and spectacle; true strength is shown by clarity and precision rather than being swayed by grand proclamations.
Sañjaya narrates that Arjuna, reacting to a lofty or ‘divine’ proclamation, shoots an arrow that cuts down a cloth-banner/flag; as soon as it is severed, the opposing figure is described as having obstructed vision—symbolizing sudden disorientation and loss of advantage.
