Droṇa’s Renewed Advance toward Yudhiṣṭhira; Fall of Satyajit and Allied Recoil
tasya pakṣaprapakṣebhyo niṣpatanti yuyutsavaḥ

The verse highlights the war-ethos of disciplined action: fighters, impelled by the will to engage, move from their assigned flanks as part of an organized formation—suggesting that even violent action in the epic is framed through order, role, and duty rather than mere chaos.
Sañjaya reports that combatants surge out from both sides (wings/flanks) of a formation associated with a central figure previously mentioned, indicating an intensification of the engagement as units deploy from the flanks into active combat.
