इति श्रीमहाभारते द्रोणपर्वणि द्रोणवधपर्वणि संकुलयुद्धे अष्टाशीत्यधिकशततमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत द्रोणवधपर्वमें घमासान युद्धविषयक एक सौ अद्वासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvaṇi droṇavadhaparvaṇi saṅkulayuddhe aṣṭāśītyadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ໃນ «ສຣີມະຫາພາຣະຕະ» ພາຍໃນ «ດໂຣນະປະຣະວະ»—ໂດຍສະເພາະໃນຕອນ «ການປະຫານດໂຣນະ»—ບົດນີ້ທີ່ກ່າວເຖິງສົງຄາມອັນພັນລະຍຸ່ງ ແລະກິນກວ້າງທຸກສິ່ງ ໄດ້ສິ້ນສຸດລົງ ເປັນການສຳເລັດຂອງບົດທີ 188. ຄຳລົງທ້າຍນີ້ຍ້ຳເນັ້ນນ້ຳໜັກທາງທຳມະຂອງການທະວີຄວາມຮຸນແຮງ: ເລື່ອງລາວບໍ່ໄດ້ເດີນໄປເພື່ອຄວາມຕື່ນຕາເທົ່ານັ້ນ ແຕ່ເປັນບັນທຶກວ່າ ທຳມະຖືກປົກຄຸມແນວໃດ ໃນທ່າມກາງຄວາມຮຸນແຮງບໍ່ຢຸດຢັ້ງ ແລະການສັງຫານດ້ວຍກົນລະຍຸດ.
