दासी जितासि दूते त्वं यथाकामचरी भव । वाससां वाहिका राज्ञो क्रातुर्ज्येष्ठस्य मे भव,“दुःशासन! तुमने द्रौपदीसे कहा था--“अरी! तू जूएमें जीती हुई दासी है। अतः हमारी इच्छाके अनुसार आचरण करनेवाली हो जा। मेरे बड़े भाई राजा दुर्योधनकी वस्त्रवाहिका बन जा
dāsī jitāsi dūte tvaṁ yathākāmacarī bhava | vāsasāṁ vāhikā rājño krātur jyeṣṭhasya me bhava ||
ສັນຊະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ດຸຫະສານະ! ເຈົ້າເຄີຍກ່າວກັບ ດຣໍປະດີ ວ່າ—‘ເຈົ້າຖືກຊະນະໃນການພະນັນ ເປັນທາດສີ; ຈົ່ງປະພຶດຕາມໃຈພວກເຮົາ. ຈົ່ງເປັນຜູ້ຖືເຄື່ອງນຸ່ງຫົ່ມໃຫ້ພະຣາຊາ—ພີ່ໃຫຍ່ຂອງຂ້າ—ດຸຣະໂຍທະນະ’»
संजय उवाच
The verse foregrounds adharma: reducing a person to an object of ownership and forcing compliance. It implicitly condemns coercion, humiliation, and the misuse of royal power—moral failures that accumulate into the catastrophe of war.
Sañjaya recounts the harsh words attributed to the Kaurava side after the dice-game: the woman is declared ‘won’ and ordered to serve Duryodhana as a clothes-bearer, recalling the infamous attempt to degrade Draupadī and asserting domination through public insult.
