सुदक्षिणं तु राजेन्द्र काम्बोजानां महारथम् | श्रुतकर्मा पराक्रान्तमभ्यद्रवत संयुगे,राजेन्द्र! काम्बोजदेशके राजा पराक्रमी महारथी सुदक्षिणपर रणभूमिमें श्रुतकर्माने आक्रमण किया
sudakṣiṇaṃ tu rājendra kāmbojānāṃ mahāratham | śrutakarmā parākrāntam abhyadravat saṃyuge ||
ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: ໂອ ພະຣາຊາ, ໃນກາງສະໜາມຮົບ ຊຣຸຕະກັຣມາ ໄດ້ພຸ່ງເຂົ້າໃສ່ສຸດັກຊິນະ ມະຫາຣະຖະຜູ້ແຂງກ້າແຫ່ງກຳໂບຊາ.
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores the kṣatriya ethos in the epic: in war, renowned warriors actively seek decisive engagements, displaying courage and resolve. Ethically, it reflects the Mahābhārata’s portrayal of duty-bound valor within the tragic framework of fratricidal conflict.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Śrutakarmā, a valiant fighter, rushed to attack Sudakṣiṇa, the great chariot-warrior associated with the Kāmbojas, during the battle.
