अयं ब्रद्मविदां श्रेष्ठो हायं ब्रह्मविदां वर: | इत्यभाषन्त भूतानि शयानं पुरुषर्षभम्‌

ayaṁ brahmavidāṁ śreṣṭho hy ayaṁ brahmavidāṁ varaḥ | ity abhāṣanta bhūtāni śayānaṁ puruṣarṣabham ||

ສັນຊະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ເມື່ອເຫັນ ພີສະມະ—ຜູ້ກ້າຫານດັ່ງງົວຜູ້ໃນຫມູ່ມະນຸດ—ນອນຢູ່ເທິງຕຽງຂອງຕົນ, ສັດທິບພະບາງພວກໄດ້ກ່າວວ່າ: «ຜູ້ນີ້ແມ່ນຜູ້ຮູ້ພຣະພຣະມັນ (Brahman) ທີ່ສູງສຸດ; ແທ້ຈິງແລ້ວ ທ່ານແມ່ນຜູ້ດີເລີດທີ່ສຸດໃນຫມູ່ຜູ້ມີພຣະພຣະມະວິທະຍາ»។ ພາບນີ້ຊູ້ວ່າ ການລົ້ມຂອງພີສະມະ ບໍ່ແມ່ນແຕ່ຄວາມພ່າຍແພ້ໃນສົງຄາມ, ແຕ່ເປັນການຍົກຍ້ອງຊີວິດທີ່ຮັກສາວຣະຕະ (ຄໍາປະຕິຍານ), ຄວາມຈິງ, ແລະ ທຳມະຢ່າງໝັ້ນຄົງ ຈົນສັດຊັ້ນສູງກໍຍັງຮັບຮູ້.
