The verse highlights sacred space and auspicious dwelling: a place described as abundant and complete (“rich in all minerals”) becomes a fitting locus for an illustrious, lotus-eyed presence—suggesting that inner glory and divine auspiciousness are mirrored by the fullness and order of the natural world.
Sañjaya, reporting to the king, describes the mountain Gomanta as immense and mineral-rich, and notes that an illustrious lotus-eyed figure resides there continually—setting a scene through geography and divine/heroic epithet.
