भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः

Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma

क्षयं नीतो5स्मि वार्ष्णेय राज्यहेतो: पराक्रमी । भ्रातरश्वैव मे शूरा: सायकैर्भशपीडिता:,4ार्ष्णेय! राज्यके लिये पराक्रम करके मैं क्षीण होता जा रहा हूँ। मेरे शूरवीर भाई बाणोंकी मारसे अत्यन्त पीड़ित हो रहे हैं

sañjaya uvāca | kṣayaṃ nīto ’smi vārṣṇeya rājy-hetoḥ parākramī | bhrātaraś caiva me śūrāḥ sāyakair bhṛśa-pīḍitāḥ ||

ສັນຊະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ວາຣສ໌ເນຍ, ເພື່ອອໍານາດແຫ່ງລາຊະອານາຈັກ ແມ່ນແຕ່ຂ້ອຍໄດ້ສະແດງຄວາມກ້າຫານ ຂ້ອຍກໍກໍາລັງຖືກຜັກໄປສູ່ຄວາມເຫນື່ອຍລ້າ ແລະ ຄວາມພິນາດ. ແລະພີ່ນ້ອງຜູ້ກ້າຫານຂອງຂ້ອຍກໍຖືກທໍລະມານຢ່າງໜັກດ້ວຍລູກທະນູ»។
