Chapter 8
(तत्र गत्वा त्वमन्वास्य महायोगेश्वरं शिवम् । कुरु प्रणाम राजर्षे भकत्या परमया युत: ।।
tatra gatvā tvam anvāsya mahāyogeśvaraṃ śivam | kuru praṇāma rājarṣe bhaktyā paramayā yutaḥ || tasmai bhagavate kṛtvā namaḥ śarvāya vedhase | ebhis taṃ nāmabhir devaṃ sarvavidyādharaṃ stuhi ||
«ໄປທີ່ນັ້ນ ແລ້ວເຂົ້າໄປຫາ ພຣະສິວະ ມະຫາໂຍເຄສະວອນ; ໂອ ຣາຊະຣິສີ, ຈົ່ງກົ້ມກາບພຣະອົງດ້ວຍຄວາມພັກດີອັນສູງສຸດ. ເມື່ອໄດ້ຖວາຍນະມັດສະການແດ່ພຣະຜູ້ມີພຣະພອນນັ້ນ—ກ່າວວ່າ ‘ນະໂມແດ່ ຊາຣະວະ, ແດ່ຜູ້ສ້າງ’—ແລ້ວຈົ່ງສັນລະເສີນເທວະຜູ້ຊົງຖືວິຊາທັງປວງນັ້ນ ດ້ວຍນາມເຫຼົ່ານີ້».
संवर्त उवाच
Approach the divine with humility and wholehearted devotion: ethical action is strengthened when one first bows, offers reverence, and praises the Lord through sacred names, acknowledging Śiva as both yogic master and cosmic ordainer.
Saṃvarta instructs a royal sage to go to Śiva, respectfully approach him, offer prostration with supreme devotion, and then recite a hymn of praise using specific epithets such as Śarva and Vedhas.
