ददृशुः कृत्तिकास्तं तु बालमर्कसमद्युतिम्‌ । जातस्नेहाच्च सौहार्दात्‌ पुपुषु: स्तन्यविस्त्रवै:

Transliteration

dadṛśuḥ kṛttikās taṃ tu bālam arka-samad-yutim | jāta-snehāc ca sauhārdāt pupuṣuḥ stanya-vistravaiḥ ||

Translation

ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ບັນດາແມ່ກຶດຕິກາໄດ້ເຫັນເດັກນ້ອຍນັ້ນ ສ່ອງສະຫວ່າງດຸດດັ່ງດວງອາທິດ. ເມື່ອຄວາມຮັກເກີດຂຶ້ນໃນໃຈ ແລະດ້ວຍຄວາມເມດຕາອ່ອນໂຍນ ພວກນາງໄດ້ຫຼ້ຽງດູເຂົາ ໂດຍປ່ອຍໃຫ້ນ້ຳນົມໄຫຼອອກຈາກເຕົ້ານົມຂອງພວກນາງ»។
