इत्युक्त: स तथेत्युक्त्वा भगवान् हव्यवाहन: । जगामाथ दुराधर्षो गड़ां भागीरथीं प्रति,देवताओंके ऐसा कहनेपर “तथास्तु” कहकर दुर्धर्ष भगवान् हव्यवाहन भागीरथी गंगाके तटपर गये
ity uktaḥ sa tathety uktvā bhagavān havyavāhanaḥ | jagāmātha durādharṣo gaṅgāṃ bhāgīrathīṃ prati ||
ພີສະມະໄດ້ກ່າວວ່າ: ເມື່ອເທວະທັງຫຼາຍກ່າວດັ່ງນັ້ນ ພຣະຮັວຍະວາຫະນະ (ໄຟ) ຜູ້ບໍ່ອາດຕ້ານທານໄດ້ ກໍຕອບວ່າ «ເປັນດັ່ງນັ້ນເຖີດ». ແລ້ວພຣະອົງກໍອອກເດີນທາງ ໄປສູ່ແມ່ນ້ຳພາຄີຣະທີ ຄົງຄາ.
भीष्म उवाच
