Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
तदपत्यं हि युवयोर्देवानभिभवेद् ध्रुवम् । नहि ते पृथिवी देवी न च द्यौर्न दिवं विभो
tadapatyaṃ hi yuvayor devān abhibhaved dhruvam | nahi te pṛthivī devī na ca dyaur na divaṃ vibho |
ພີດສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ບຸດທີ່ເກີດຈາກພຣະອົງທັງສອງ ຈະຊະນະເທວະທັງປວງແນ່ນອນ. ໂອ ພຣະຜູ້ເປັນເຈົ້າ, ພວກເຮົາເຊື່ອຢ່າງໝັ້ນຄົງວ່າ ບໍ່ວ່າເທວີແຜ່ນດິນ, ບໍ່ວ່າຟ້າ, ຫຼືແມ່ນສະຫວັນ ກໍບໍ່ອາດຮັບໄຫວແຮງເທຊະຂອງພຣະອົງ. ແມ່ນແຕ່ຮວມກັນທັງໝົດກໍບໍ່ສາມາດຮັບໄຫວ; ໂລກທັງປວງຈະກາຍເປັນຂີ້ເທົ່າໂດຍແຮງກະທົບແຫ່ງຄວາມສະຫວ່າງນັ້ນ».
