वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्तो धर्मराजेन तदा शान्तनवो नृप: । सम्यगाह गुणांस्तस्मै गोप्रदानस्य केवलान्‌

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: ity ukto dharmarājena tadā śāntanavo nṛpaḥ | samyag āha guṇāṁs tasmai gopradānasya kevalān ||

Translation

ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ເມື່ອຖືກທ່ານທຳມະຣາຊາ (ຢຸດທິສຖິຣະ) ກ່າວດັ່ງນັ້ນ ພະຣາຊາ ສັນຕະນະວະ (ພີສະມະ) ຈຶ່ງເລີ່ມອະທິບາຍຢ່າງຖືກຕ້ອງ ແລະ ເປັນລຳດັບ ເຖິງຄຸນຄ່າ ແລະ ຜົນບຸນທີ່ເກີດຂຶ້ນໂດຍຈົງຈົງຈາກການຖວາຍທານໂຄ—ຊູ້ໃຫ້ເຫັນວ່າເປັນການກະທຳແຫ່ງທຳມະ ອັນເປັນທານບາຣະມີ.
