प्रजा: सृजेति चादिष्ट: पूर्व दक्ष: स्वयम्भुवा । असृजद्‌ वृत्तिमेवाग्रे प्रजानां हितकाम्यया

Transliteration

prajāḥ sṛjeti cādiṣṭaḥ pūrvaṃ dakṣaḥ svayambhuvā | asṛjad vṛttim evāgre prajānāṃ hitakāmyayā ||

Translation

ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນປະຖົມການ ດັກສະໄດ້ຮັບຄໍາສັ່ງຈາກ ສະວະຍັມພູ (ຜູ້ເກີດຂຶ້ນໂດຍຕົນເອງ) ວ່າ «ຈົ່ງສ້າງສັດທັງຫຼາຍ». ແຕ່ດັກສະ ໂດຍປາຖະໜາປະໂຫຍດແກ່ສັດທັງປວງ ໄດ້ຈັດຕັ້ງກ່ອນເລີຍເຖິງວິທີດໍາລົງຊີວິດ (ອາຊີບ) ຂອງພວກເຂົາ ແລ້ວຈຶ່ງຄ່ອຍເລີ່ມສ້າງສາຍພັນ—ຊີ້ໃຫ້ເຫັນວ່າ ການປົກຄອງແລະການສ້າງຕ້ອງເລີ່ມຈາກການຮັບປະກັນອາຫານແລະຄວາມຜາສຸກກ່ອນ.
