Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
गौर्मे माता वृषभ: पिता मे दिवं शर्म जगती मे प्रतिष्ठा । प्रपद्यैवं शर्वरीमुष्य गोषु पुनर्वाणीमुत्सूजेद् गोप्रदाने
bhīṣma uvāca | gaur me mātā vṛṣabhaḥ pitā me divaṃ śarma jagatī me pratiṣṭhā | prapadyaivaṃ śarvarīm uṣya goṣu punar vāṇīm utsṛjed gopradāne ||
ພີດສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: “ງົວແມ່ນແມ່ຂອງຂ້າ; ງົວຜູ້ (ວຣິສະພະ) ແມ່ນພໍ່ຂອງຂ້າ. ຂໍໃຫ້ທ່ານທັງສອງປະທານສະຫວັນ ແລະຄວາມສຸກໃນໂລກ; ງົວແມ່ນຖານຮາກຂອງຂ້າ.” ເວົ້າແລ້ວ ຈົ່ງເຂົ້າໄປພຶ່ງພາຢູ່ໃນຝູງງົວ ຢູ່ກັບພວກມັນຕະຫຼອດຄືນດ້ວຍຄວາມມິດງຽບ; ແລ້ວໃນເວລາບໍລິຈາກງົວຕອນເຊົ້າ ຈຶ່ງຄ່ອຍທຳລາຍຄວາມງຽບ ແລະເວົ້າ ເພື່ອເລີ່ມພິທີ go-dāna ດ້ວຍຄວາມເຄົາລົບ ແລະຄວາມສຳລວມ.
