न दैवतानि लोके5स्मिन्‌ व्यापारं यान्ति कस्यचित्‌ । व्यासडूं जनयन्त्युग्रमात्माभिभवशड्कया

na daivatāni loke 'smin vyāpāraṃ yānti kasyacit | vyāsaduṃ janayanty ugraṃ ātmābhibhavaśaṅkayā ||

ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນໂລກນີ້ ເທວະດາບໍ່ໄດ້ເຂົ້າໄປແຊກແຊງກິດຈະການຂອງໃຜໂດຍກົງ. ແຕ່ເພາະຢ້ານວ່າຜູ້ມີຄຸນທຳອັນສູງສຸດຈະເກີນພວກເຂົາ ເທວະດາອາດຈະກະຕຸ້ນໃຫ້ເກີດຄວາມຍຶດຕິດອັນຮຸນແຮງໃນໃຈຂອງຜູ້ນັ້ນ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ອຸປະສັກເກີດຂຶ້ນໃນການປະພຶດທຳມະ.
