भीष्म उवाच आत्मा पुत्रश्न विज्ञेयस्तस्यानन्तरजश्न यः । निरुक्तजश्न विज्ञेय: सुत: प्रसृतजस्तथा

bhīṣma uvāca ātmā putraḥ vijñeyaḥ tasyānantara-jaḥ yaḥ | nirukta-jaḥ vijñeyaḥ sutaḥ prasṛta-jaḥ tathā ||

ພີດສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ບຸດທີ່ເອີ້ນວ່າ ‘ອະນັນຕະຣະຊະ’ (anantaraja) ຄວນຖືວ່າເປັນດັ່ງຕົນເອງ—ເພາະເກີດໂດຍບໍ່ມີຜູ້ທີສາມເຂົ້າມາແຊກແຊງ ແລະເກີດຈາກເຊື້ອຂອງຜົວແຕ່ຜູ້ດຽວ. ອີກປະເພດໜຶ່ງເອີ້ນວ່າ ‘ນິຣຸກຕະຊະ’ (niruktaja); ແລະຍັງມີບຸດທີ່ເອີ້ນວ່າ ‘ປຣະສຣິຕະຊະ’ (prasṛtaja) ອີກດ້ວຍ.
