Ānṛśaṃsya–Bhakti: Śukaḥ Śakreṇa Parīkṣitaḥ
Compassion and Devotion—The Parrot Tested by Indra
एवमेव मनुष्येन्द्र भक्तिमन्तं समाश्रित: । सर्वार्थसिद्धि लभते शुकं प्राप्य यथा द्रुम:
evam eva manuṣyendra bhaktimantaṁ samāśritaḥ | sarvārthasiddhiṁ labhate śukaṁ prāpya yathā drumaḥ ||
ພີສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ເຊັ່ນນັ້ນແຫຼະ ໂອ ຜູ້ເປັນເລີດໃນມະນຸດ, ຜູ້ໃດພຶງພາ ແລະຂໍອາໄສຜູ້ມີພັກຕິແທ້ ຍ່ອມໄດ້ຮັບຄວາມສຳເລັດໃນຈຸດປະສົງທັງປວງ—ເຫມືອນຕົ້ນໄມ້ທີ່ໄດ້ຢູ່ຮ່ວມກັບຊູກະ (ນົກແກ້ວ) ແລ້ວສຳເລັດຄວາມປາດຖະໜາທັງໝົດ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ຜູ້ອາໄສຜູ້ມີພັກຕິ ຍ່ອມນຳຄວາມປາດຖະໜາຂອງຕົນໃຫ້ສຳເລັດ».
