नाहसे मां सहस्राक्ष ट्रुमं त्याजयितुं चिरात्‌ समर्थमुपजीव्येमं त्यजेयं कथमद्य वै

Transliteration

nāhase māṃ sahasrākṣa drumam tyājayituṃ cirāt samartham upajīvyemaṃ tyajeyaṃ katham adya vai

Translation

ພີສະມະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ສະຫັດສະຣາກສະ (ອິນທຣາ) ຢ່າພະຍາຍາມແຍກຕົ້ນໄມ້ນີ້ອອກຈາກຂ້າເລີຍ. ນານມາແລ້ວ ຂ້າໄດ້ດຳລົງຊີວິດໂດຍອາໄສມັນໃນຍາມທີ່ມັນແຂງແຮງ; ມື້ນີ້ເມື່ອມັນອ່ອນແຮງແລ້ວ ຂ້າຈະປະຖິ້ມມັນໄປ—ຈະເປັນໄປໄດ້ແນວໃດ?»
