Pūjya-namaskārya-prakaraṇa
On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
एवमेतत् परं स्थान ब्राह्म॒ण्यं नाम भारत । तच्च दुष्प्रापमिह वै महेन्द्रवचनं यथा
evam etat paraṁ sthānaṁ brāhmaṇyaṁ nāma bhārata | tac ca duṣprāpam iha vai mahendravacanaṁ yathā ||
ສັກຣະ (ອິນທຣະ) ກ່າວວ່າ: «ແມ່ນແທ້ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ໂອ ພາຣະຕະ; ສະຖານະທີ່ເອີ້ນວ່າ ພຣາຫມັນຍະ (brāhmaṇya) ແມ່ນສະຖານະອັນສູງສຸດ. ແລະໃນຊີວິດນີ້ເອງ ມັນເປັນຂອງທີ່ໄດ້ຍາກຢ່າງແທ້ຈິງສຳລັບຜູ້ຢູ່ໃນວັນນະອື່ນໆ—ດັ່ງທີ່ມະເຫນທຣະ (ອິນທຣະ) ໄດ້ກ່າວໄວ້»។
