Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
भीष्म उवाच दैवं पौर्वाह्निकं कुर्यादपराह्ने तु पैतृकम् मड़लाचारसम्पन्न: कृतशौच: प्रयत्नवान्
bhīṣma uvāca: daivaṃ paurvāhṇikaṃ kuryād aparāhṇe tu paitṛkam | maṅgalācāra-sampannaḥ kṛtaśaucaḥ prayatnavān ||
ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: “ພຣະຣາຊາ, ພິທີແລະທານທີ່ຖວາຍແກ່ເທວະ ຄວນເຮັດໃນຕອນເຊົ້າ; ສ່ວນທີ່ເປັນຂອງບັນພະບຸລຸດ ຄວນເຮັດໃນຕອນບ່າຍ. ເມື່ອຊຳລະກາຍໃຫ້ບໍລິສຸດ (ເຊັ່ນ ອາບນ້ຳ) ແລະ ປະພຶດຕາມຂໍ້ປະພືດອັນເປັນມົງຄຸນແລ້ວ ຈຶ່ງຄວນກະທຳດ້ວຍຄວາມພາກພຽນ. ທານທີ່ເຮັດຜິດເວລາ ຖືກນັບວ່າເປັນສ່ວນຂອງຣາກສະ.”
