Anuśāsana-parva 17
सर्ववासी श्रियावासी उपदेशकरो5डकर: । मुनिरात्मनिरालोक: सम्भग्नश्न सहस्रद:
vāyudeva uvāca | sarvavāsī śriyāvāsī upadeśakaro 'kāraḥ | munir ātmanirālokaḥ sambhagnaḥ sahasradāḥ ||
ພະວາຍຸເທວະກ່າວວ່າ: «ພຣະອົງສະຖິດຢູ່ໃນສັດທັງປວງເປັນອາດຕະ; ແລະພຣະອົງສະຖິດຄູ່ກັບພຣະສຣີ (ລັກສະມີ). ພຣະອົງແມ່ນຜູ້ໃຫ້ຄຳສອນ—ຊີ້ແນະສັດຈະແກ່ຜູ້ແສວງຫາ ແລະປະທານຄຳແນະນຳເພື່ອຄວາມພົ້ນ. ພຣະອົງພົ້ນຈາກອະຫັງການແຫ່ງ “ຂ້ອຍເປັນຜູ້ກະທຳ”, ເປັນມຸນີຜູ້ຄິດໄຕ່ຕອງ, ແລະພິຈາລະນາພາຍໃນໂດຍແຍກອອກຈາກອຸປາທິເຊັ່ນກາຍ. ພຣະອົງໄດ້ຮັບການບໍລິການແລະການສັກກາລະຢ່າງຖືກຕ້ອງ ແລະເປັນຜູ້ໃຫ້ທານເປັນພັນໆ».
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse extols the highest guide—divine or saintly—as one who is universally present, teaches liberating truth, remains free from egoistic doership, practices inward discernment, and embodies generosity. Ethical excellence is shown as humility plus service to others through instruction and charity.
Vāyudeva is describing and praising an exalted being (implicitly Viṣṇu/Nārāyaṇa-like) through a chain of epithets. The focus is not on action but on qualities—indwelling presence, association with Śrī, capacity to instruct and uplift, egolessness, contemplative insight, being rightly honored, and great giving.
