Transliteration

siddhārthakārī siddhārthaś chandovyākaraṇottaraḥ | siṃhanādaḥ siṃhadamṣṭraḥ siṃhagaḥ siṃhavāhanaḥ ||

Translation

ພະວາຍຸເທວະກ່າວວ່າ: «ພຣະອົງເປັນຜູ້ບັນດານໃຫ້ເປົ້າໝາຍທີ່ສຳເລັດແລ້ວບັນລຸຜົນ ແລະເປັນຮູບອັນແທ້ຂອງສັດຈະທີ່ຕັ້ງມັ່ນ; ສູງສຸດໃນວິຊາສັນສະກິດວ່າດ້ວຍສັນທະ (chandas) ແລະໄວຍາກອນ. ພຣະອົງຄຳຮ້ອງດັ່ງສິງ, ມີເຂົ້າຟັນດັ່ງສິງ, ເຄື່ອນໄຫວໂດຍຂີ່ສິງ, ແລະມີສິງເປັນພາຫະນະ—ເປັນນິມິດທີ່ປະກາດພະລັງອັນຕ້ານທານບໍ່ໄດ້ ທີ່ຖືກນຳໄປໃຊ້ເພື່ອຈຸດປະສົງແຫ່ງທຳ».
