द्वे तनू तस्य देवस्य वेदज्ञा ब्राह्मणा विदु: । घोरामन्यां शिवामन्यां ते तनू बहुधा पुनः
dve tanū tasya devasya vedajñā brāhmaṇā viduḥ | ghorām anyāṃ śivām anyāṃ te tanū bahudhā punaḥ ||
ພະວາຍຸກ່າວວ່າ: «ບັນດາພຣາຫມັນຜູ້ຮູ້ວິເທດ ຮູ້ວ່າເທວະອົງນີ້ມີຮູບສອງປະການ. ຮູບໜຶ່ງແມ່ນນ່າຢ້ານ ແລະຊວນໃຫ້ຄາລະວະ; ອີກຮູບໜຶ່ງແມ່ນ ‘ສິວະ’—ມົງຄຸນ ແລະເມດຕາ. ຍິ່ງໄປກວ່ານັ້ນ ທັງສອງຮູບນີ້ຍັງຖືກເຂົ້າໃຈວ່າແຕກອອກເປັນຫຼາຍປະເພດອີກ».
