ब्राह्मणप्रमुखं सौम्यं न मे5त्रास्ति विचारणा

brāhmaṇa-pramukhaṃ saumyaṃ na me ’trāsti vicāraṇā | brāhmaṇeṣu śānta-bhāvasya prādhānyam | etad-viṣaye mama na vicāraṇā | brāhmaṇa-pūjanād āyuḥ kīrtiḥ yaśaḥ balaṃ ca prāpyate | sarve lokāḥ lokeśvarāś ca brāhmaṇa-pūjakāḥ santi ||

ວາຍຸ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ຜູ້ອ່ອນໂຍນ, ພຣາຫມັນເປັນຜູ້ຢືນຢູ່ແນວໜ້າ; ໃນເລື່ອງນີ້ ຂ້ອຍບໍ່ມີຄວາມສົງໄສ. ໃນຫມູ່ພຣາຫມັນ ຄວາມສະງົບສັນຕິເປັນຄຸນທີ່ໂດດເດັ່ນ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ຂ້ອຍບໍ່ຈໍາເປັນຕ້ອງພິຈາລະນາຕໍ່. ການເຄົາລົບບູຊາພຣາຫມັນ ນໍາໃຫ້ໄດ້ອາຍຸຍືນ, ຊື່ສຽງ, ກຽດຍົດ, ແລະກໍາລັງ. ແທ້ຈິງ ໂລກທັງປວງ—ແມ່ນແຕ່ເຈົ້າແຫ່ງໂລກ—ກໍເປັນຜູ້ນະມັດສະການພຣາຫມັນ»
