अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
आराधितो<भूद् भक्तेन तस्योदर्क निशामय । स दृष्टवान् महादेवमस्तौषीच्च स्तवैर्विभुम्
ārādhito 'bhūd bhaktena tasyodarkaṃ niśāmaya | sa dṛṣṭavān mahādevam astauṣīc ca stavair vibhum ||
ວາຍຸກ່າວວ່າ: «ຈົ່ງຟັງຜົນແຫ່ງຄວາມສັດທານັ້ນ. ເມື່ອພຣະອົງຖືກບູຊາດ້ວຍຄວາມເຊື່ອມັ້ນຂອງຜູ້ອຸທິດ, ພຣະອົງກໍ່ປະທານຜົນ: ຜູ້ນັ້ນໄດ້ເຫັນພຣະມະຫາເທວະ ແລະໄດ້ສັນລະເສີນອົງອະທິປະໄຕຜູ້ຄອບຄຸມທົ່ວສັບພະສິ່ງ ດ້ວຍບົດສະໂຕດ».
