Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
द्वितीयं त्वद्भुतमिदं त्वत्तेज: कृतमद्य वै दृष्टवा च विस्मिता: कृष्ण सा च न: स्मृतिरागता
dvitīyaṃ tv adbhutam idaṃ tvat-tejaḥ-kṛtam adya vai | dṛṣṭvā ca vismitāḥ kṛṣṇa sā ca naḥ smṛtir āgatā ||
ນາຣະດາ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ກຣິສນະ, ມື້ນີ້ເຫດອັນອັດສະຈັນຄັ້ງທີສອງໄດ້ເກີດຂຶ້ນ ໂດຍອານຸພາບແຫ່ງລັດສະມີຕະເຈະຂອງທ່ານ. ເມື່ອເຫັນແລ້ວ ພວກເຮົາຕື່ນຕະລຶງ ແລະມັນໄດ້ນຳໃຫ້ພວກເຮົາລະລຶກເຖິງເຫດການເກົ່າກ່ອນທີ່ກ່ຽວພັນກັບ ສັງກະຣະ (ພຣະສິວະ)».
