śrīkṛṣṇa uvāca
mūrdhnā nipatya niyatastejaḥ-saṃnicaye tataḥ |
parama-harṣam āgatya bhagavantam athābruvam ||
ພຣະສີກຣິດສະນະກ່າວວ່າ: “ໂອ ພາຣະຕະ! ຫຼັງຈາກນັ້ນ ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າໄດ້ຄວບຄຸມໃຈໃຫ້ຢູ່ໃນວິໄນ ແລະກົ່ມສະຫຼົບກາຍກົດກະບົດກ່ອນພຣະສິວະຜູ້ເປັນພຣະຜູ້ມີພາກ ຜູ້ສະຖິດຢູ່ເປັນມວນແຫ່ງລັງສີທິບ. ແລ້ວດ້ວຍຄວາມປິຕິຍິນດີຢ່າງສູງສຸດ ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າໄດ້ກ່າວຕໍ່ພຣະອົງນັ້ນ—”
श्रीकृष्ण उवाच
The verse models dharmic devotion: true approach to the divine begins with inner restraint (niyataḥ) and outward humility (prostration). Ethical power is grounded in self-mastery and reverence, not entitlement.
Kṛṣṇa, after controlling his mind, bows and prostrates before Śiva—described as a concentrated mass of radiance—and, filled with joy, begins to speak to him, setting up the ensuing dialogue about Śiva’s grace and glory.
