तेषामृषिकृतो धर्मो धर्मिणामुपपद्यते । न कामकारात्‌ कामोडन्य: संसेव्यो धर्मदर्शिभि:

Transliteration

teṣām ṛṣikṛto dharmo dharmiṇām upapadyate | na kāmakārāt kāmo 'nyaḥ saṁsevyo dharmadarśibhiḥ ||

Translation

ສໍາລັບຜູ້ທີ່ດໍາລົງຊີວິດຕາມທໍາ ຂໍ້ປະພຶດທີ່ບັນດາລະສີວາງໄວ້ ຍ່ອມເໝາະສົມແທ້ ແລະໃຫ້ຜົນ. ຜູ້ເຫັນທໍາຢ່າງແຈ້ງ ບໍ່ຄວນໄລ່ຫາຄວາມເພີດເພີນດ້ວຍຄວາມຢາກຫຼືຄວາມຫວັງລ້ວນໆ; ການປະພຶດຕາມຕັນຫາບໍ່ຄວນຖືເປັນວິຖີຊີວິດ.
