इनके सिवा श्रीकृष्णद्वैपायन व्यास
eteṣāṃ caiva śrīkṛṣṇadvaipāyana-vyāsaḥ, japa-kartṝṇāṃ śreṣṭho dhaumyaḥ, devalaḥ, kāśyapaḥ, hastikāśyapaś ca, anye ca dīkṣā-indriya-saṃyama-sampannāḥ sādhu-maharṣayaḥ, deva-upamais tapasvibhiḥ siddhaiś ca śiṣyaiḥ sārdhaṃ tatra ājagmuḥ.
ພີສະມະກ່າວວ່າ: «ນອກເໜືອຈາກສອງອົງນັ້ນ ສຣີກຣິດສະນະ-ດວຍປາຍະນະ ວຽາສະ ກໍມາຮອດທີ່ນັ້ນ; ພ້ອມດ້ວຍ ທໍາມະຍະ ຜູ້ເປັນເລີດໃນຜູ້ປະພຶດຈະປະ (japa), ແລະ ເທວະລະ, ກາສະຍະປະ, ຫັດສະຕິກາສະຍະປະ ພ້ອມທັງຣິສີໃຫຍ່ອື່ນໆອັນບໍລິສຸດ. ຜູ້ເຫຼົ່ານັ້ນພ້ອມດ້ວຍດີກສາ ແລະການຂົ່ມອິນຊີ ໄດ້ມາພ້ອມສິດສະຍາທີ່ສຳເລັດ ມີຕະປະ ແລະດຸດດັ່ງເທວະ».
भीष्म उवाच
The verse underscores that true moral and spiritual authority rests on dīkṣā (consecrated discipline), indriya-saṃyama (sense-restraint), tapas (austerity), and siddhi (attainment). The arrival of such sages and their disciplined disciples signals an assembly grounded in dharma and validated by exemplary conduct.
Bhīṣma continues listing revered figures who came to the gathering: Vyāsa, Dhaumya (praised as foremost among japa practitioners), Devala, Kāśyapa, Hastikāśyapa, and other great seers, all accompanied by their godlike, ascetic, accomplished disciples.
