Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
यत् तद् भगवता पूर्व दत्त चक्रं तवानघ । जलान्तरचरं हत्वा दैत्यं च बलगर्वितम्
yat tad bhagavatā pūrva datta cakraṁ tavānagha | jalāntaracaraṁ hatvā daityaṁ ca balagarvitam ||
ວາສຸເທວະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ຜູ້ບໍ່ມີມົນທິນ—ຈັກຣະນັ້ນທີ່ພຣະຜູ້ເປັນເຈົ້າເຄີຍປະທານໃຫ້ເຈົ້າ ຫຼັງຈາກສັງຫານອະສຸຣະຜູ້ຫຍິ່ງຍະໂສດ້ວຍກໍາລັງ ຜູ້ເຄີຍເຄື່ອນໄຫວຢູ່ໃນນໍ້າ—ແທ້ຈິງແລ້ວ ຖືກສ້າງຂຶ້ນໂດຍພຣະວຣຶສະທະວະຊະ (ພຣະສິວະ) ເອງ ແລະ ປະທານໃຫ້ເຈົ້າ. ອາວຸດນັ້ນລຸກໂຊດເຫມືອນໄຟ ມີສະຫງ່າລາສີອັນອັດສະຈັນ ແລະ ບໍ່ອາດຕ້ານທານໄດ້»។
